Wonderful Season

I love Christmas. Winter is one of my favorite seasons. I like it particularly because of the snow and the snow falling, but I don't like the weather. Lol.  To have work off on the best holiday is also fun; even if you have the best work place to go to, right? I'm even taking time off from my YouTube channel. I am at the point of Long Live Menavia to put all my outside links, excluding facebook, in the description box. Of course, the copyright circle and the disclaimer stuff will stay. I don't want people stealing my books. Since my blog site will now be in the description box until I finish Long Live Menavia and start a new book, I shall be writing more on here - as I should be. Lol. With that now told, I bid you all adieu. Merry Christmas, everyone! To those who don't follow Christmas as much as my family does, Happy Holidays! If ever you feel lonely and want to pass the time, you should listen to one of my books on my YouTube channel, TheEsperanza243.

NaNoWriMo

I should start writing on here more often. I know for a fact the more stuff I do, the more my stuff is easier to find for people. I love what I do, and I want to show everyone what that is.     I am a writer. I am an author. I don't have anything published yet. And I stress "yet." I have actually written 31 books and one screenplay in the past eight years, since Christmas of 2004. Yes, it took a lot of social sacrifice, but writing most of these books... it was worth it. :)     Next Spring or Summer, though, Woodbine Housing is publishing a book. One of my songs won in a contest they hosted earlier this year; hence, my song and a short bio of me will be in their book. The rewards for one of three songs I submitted: a publishing of my submission in their book, $25, and a free copy of the book. *Makes a big grin.* I am so excited.     Every November, for who knows how many years, authors and people sign up on a site called NaNoWriMo: Nation...

A Golden Christmas

I just finished watching this and absolutely love it. *Sighs* It's such a beautiful romantic comedy. At least that's what I think it is. A long time ago, a dog brings a boy and a girl together in the summer. Jessica and Michael became best friends. But after that summer, they never saw each other again. Now that Jessica is older and her parents are selling the house, she wants to own it - to keep that childhood summer alive. But she has to remember something. Who is the guy her parents sold her house to? Why is this real estate person wanting to sell the house when he should be buying it for himself? During the movie, there is a beautiful song and beautifully done as well. It reminds me so much of my true love. :) It is called All I Want For Christmas is You, by Dan Mackenzie, but it is nothing like the Mariah Carey version. check out dan mackenzie at acousticvids.com – and enjoy thousands of performance video clips by hundreds of artists, interviews, and more!

About Me

I guess I didn't really understand on how to do a blog when I did "The Life About... Me". It's empty. Lol. Anyways, my name is Allison. I've lived in Missouri since 1993; I was four and a half. I was born in Bolivia; my parents used to be missionaries, and their last mission was in Bolivia. I have mosaic down syndrome. Something to do with a trisemi chromosome or something like it. If you want to learn more, go to www.imdsa.org I am currently in college. According to my unofficial transcript, I believe I have completed a year's worth of school. I've been in college since 2007. Lol. I'm super slow, but I am doing my best. I am trying to live on my own; I moved out of my mom's house last year, but I won't say that her help doesn't mean anything. It does, and I know I'll be needing more of her help. (She's an accountant, among other things. :D Love you, ma!) I have a YouTube channel, though it seems I may not be able to go ...

YouTube

Those who have come here via YouTube, I am glad you are a follower. :) It certainly gives me hope. But it probably means you're a book reading follower, than a vlog follower. Lol. I'm just teasing. Anyways, I will be doing blogs instead of vlogs now. I'm sure I could do vlogs in fifteen minutes or less; I only choose not to, because there's so much to talk about. Ha ha ha. I will continue to do book reading videos. I want to continue on until my word document says page 36. Right now, I'm on page 22 of 56. It is a long book, but not a novel. A novel is 50,000+ words. I actually have written two novels since last year. It's so exciting. I have already done a book reading video for today, so I will see you all later on this week on my next BR video.
